Default Alignment after lift question

Hey everybody, I recently had my first spring lift installed on my Jeep. I know it is always recommended to get an alignment done afterwards, my question is when??
They told me to wait 1000km to allow everything to settle, go back to them to check everything and tighten what needs to be and then afterwards get an alignment. It's only been a week, but my Jeep is now pulling to one side and my steering is off. Wondering if I should still wait and drive as is or if it's fine to get alignment done now??

I aligned mine right after I put the lift on, before it even left my garage. I've never heard of waiting to align it after any suspension work.

Do a DIY alignment to get close and fix your steering wheel:

Basic Do-it-Yourself Jeep JK Wrangler Front End Alignment

I'd still recommend getting one done at least to see how close you were able to get with the DIY method. Good confidence booster

Honestly sounds like that shop doesn't know what they are talking about. If all you had done was install an aev 2.5 with correction brackets then there is nothing for them to align. Read up on centering the steering wheel. This should have already been done and is probably why your jeep is pulling left. I would read up on the aev install instructions and double check their work and get a torque wrench and make sure everything is tight. There should be a chart for torque specs in the back of the aev install instructions.

So I did take it for an alignment. Drives better now but they said they had difficulties with "making it 100%." My steering wheel is now off more so then before, It drives straight but the wheel is turned to the left. They advised me "was done to the best possible adjustment, may still occur and will have to see dealer/ truck shop" Kind of aggravated but guess it was my fault taking it to a place that doesn't deal specifically with lifted jeeps. Your toe is good. You just need to adjust the steering wheel. Loosen the two bolts on the draglink and turn the turnbuckle down or towards you to move the steering wheel to the right. do it in small increments while driving with the wrench to get it perfect. adjust, tighten, drive, repeat. Dont turn the adjustement turnbuckle too much it is sensative. Your caster sucks you need to correct it with correction brackets (rancho) or front lower control arms. you want it set to 4.5 to 5.5 degrees depending on lift height

I adjusted the steering wheel so it is center. Now when I go to turn left the wheel does not seem to turn as much, would that be from rotating my turnbuckle to much on the drag link?? Turning my Jeep right the steering wheel turns fully, left after one revolution there is a lot of resistance and will not turn tighter

Did you read my post above about the turnbuckle being sensative? How much did you turn the turnbuckle? You want to take a look at your pitman arm and make sure its straight when your steering wheel is straight
