After many years of weather/trail abuse my stock license plate holder has seen better days. Not really into relocating it though. Anybody have any experience with this?

Nope, but it looks about $50 too much.

 

Relocate it. Looks so much better and is out the way. They look stupid sticking out the side in the stock spot. Actually a guy is selling the bracket and the light for $40 in the for sale section

I think it was 70 $ from 4wheel parts. I love it. my license plate and back up lights are on their way from eBay also.

 

I couldn't find anything I liked or would work with my current set up. Being I have the lug lights for my 3rd brake light, all the spare tire mounted set ups are in the center of the wheel. With that, I made a custom mount. Cost $5 in aluminum and another few $ in paint. And, I have a provision to add a camera as well.

 

if you really aren't into relocating it just find someone who has and buy their stock mount for cheap!

 

I drilled two holes in mine, put some foam on the back and put an led from etrailer in the brake light. I like it

I tore mine off on a narrow trail

That gave me a good excuse to relocate it to the spare

I'm pretty sure that ONO was the brand, I got it from Northridge
