Default Trek Armor Seat Covers & Side Air Bags

I know that Trek Armor does NOT have "side air bag" compatible seat covers...
but i have some questions:

1. What happens if you have Trek Armor Seat Covers AND side air bags...and the air bags try to deploy?
2. Many jeeps don't have side air bags, so I'm not concerned without having them...but I have them.
3. Is there a way to easily disable the side air bags, but keep the driver and passenger front air bags working?
4. It seems safer to disable the side air bags...vs. keeping them working, but covering them with Trek Armor Seat Covers

Does anyone have any experience with this?
Is anyone WITH side air bags running the Trek Armor Seat Covers?
What did you do?

You can unplug them. You will get a light.

call and talk to Mitch over at Trek Armour to get more details. I have been wondering the same thing, but haven't called yet.

Sounds like they're distancing themselves for liability reasons. You would probably have to disconnect the bags.
