Default Any lube on quick disconnects?

Have a set of Rubicon Express disconnects that the last 2 times I have disconnected have been a real PIA to take off. I have to get a rubber mallet to knock them off, and it takes me about a good 15 min, lol. They are actually easier to get back on!

Anyway, I really don't now much about the wrenching side and was just wondering if there was anything safe to put on there and make it slide out easier or if this is something that just gets a little worn over time? I've had them for about 4 months.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Use anti-seize.

I put a dab of grease on the bottom post to assist in them sliding off easier. Some have grease fittings built in, so yes lube is far better than a MALLET.

Important note: Make sure you are level ground so there is no load on the suspension. Never had to use a mallet and would not recommend it, just rocking the jeep side to side or moving to a flatter spot has worked for me.
