Hi guys My CE light has switched on again. Now the jeep is running very slowly, high revs and no real movement ( so said my wife who is currently driving it). Few days ago I had a similar problem, and I was able to extract the DTC errors using my Superchip.

Some Background.
I'm running 35" with 4.88
My jeep stood for more than 10 days without moving, while I was abroad, and when I came back the battery was completely dead. I was able to jumpstart it, and everything seemed ok, except for the low battery I noting when starting it up.

While taking it offroad few days ago it started to express some problems.

I was told it was the low battery that was affecting the computer and I should not be worried, just replace the battery the next morning. So I reset the DTC, and continue to drive, when the battery red indicator came on again.

All went well all the way back home. - I replaced the battery the next morning.

Now the CE light came on again, and the jeep is not really moving.

So I guess it is not the battery fault any more.
Once I changed the battery the overcharge light did not switch on again. I read that sometimes, when you have overcharge, the gear switches to safe mode. Could that be it?
Any ideas what can it be? I found this online.

Beside the gear fluid which seems to be ok, what should I look for?
Could it be that the 4.88 gear ratio changed to default because the battery was dead for so many days?

I've checked the programed settings of the gear ratio, and it was fine.
So i've decided to tow it to the dealer....

What do you guys say... should I go and try to sell a kidney?
