Drag link and tie rod upgrade.
What are some upgraded drag link and tie rod brands that are good? I've been looking into the Currie drag and tie rod combo. How are the Synergy ones? Any replies would help me out on making a decision

Synergy.
Both uses the same ends so its easy to replace if you have to. Great quality and affordable.

Running the Synergy setup. Great quality and great reviews. They also have the other components you might want for future upgrades - axle side trackbar raise brackets & the adapter for flipping the drag link, upper trackbar strengthening bracket & sector shaft brace.

If you can wait a few months, there may be a new addition the tie rod/drag link market from a big name suspension company.
I was told at the Overland Expo by the company rep that there is something in the works and he had a prototype on his display Jeep.
I'm looking to upgrade mine but will wait a few months to see what this company comes out with and the price point.
(I can't tell you who as he made me promise not too - I know, it suspenseful and NO I don't work for any company)

$130 HD tie rod from Ruff Stuff for the JK - Jeep JK Tie Rod Kit - RuffStuff Specialties
The tie rod is in a bad spot and likely to get damaged no matter how expensive it is - chromoly is strong, but it doesn't flex well and will still need to get replaced if you hit it good - so why go expensive on something that is really likely to get replaced (and pretty easy to replace yourself) The $300+ synergy chromoly only claims to be "twice as strong" as stock - and the stock one is a wet noodle, so that doesn't say much.

If you are going to drop the coin, go with metal mashers aluminum tie rod, but I personally would build a couple Ruff stuff rods considering the tubing and bungs costs about 55 bucks when it gets bent.
