Default New shoes coming

I just ordered my 315/75R16 General Grabber and Black Rock wheels. I can't wait to put them on this weekend. And yes I did get the red writing.

Post pics once you have them on, my GT Grabbers have worked great. Love the red lettering.

Never heard of them before. Just checked website. Anyone use these before? Price is good but would want reviews before driving my family around on retreads.

Same here Ripn. I am always looking to save a $$$ but not at the cost of my safety. I did plenty of research and had a hard time finding bad reviews. Im actually going to start a thread when they come in so people can track my experience with them. So far their customer service has been great. I got 5 315/70/17 shipped for $925. My local tire shop was interested in seeing them and how they do. The only negatives I have found so far are issues balancing. Order was placed on Friday and they told me 2 to 3 weeks before they shipped. They also do not charge you till the tires actually ship.

Yeah all I found were good reviews too.
One of the review articles mentioned balancing steps since they pre balance this same way when they make the tire which could cause balancing issues at shop if not followed. I bet not doing this is why there are balancing issues.
They said to set balance computer to static balance, put 1/2 the weight on inside and 1/2 weight on outside at 12 o'clock position

Scratch that. Found some very bad reviews from a former reseller who had 1st hand knowledge of running them on highway and tires heating up, separating, bubbling up and blowing out.

I actually did find those reviews as well after I had ordered mine. The only negative ones I could find were on the diesel forums.

Im not trying to defend them at all, especially since I dont even own them yet, but you can find negative reviews for any product if you look hard and long enough. Anyway, I guess I'll know for sure in a few weeks.

Yeah I know but I always heard that about retreads and seeing those blowout issues from only a few years ago makes me leery since it's my DD. Definitely check tires often for bubbles to be safe. Good luck!
