Default 33x12.5x15 Duratracs not high enough load rating for jk wranglers?

I'm trying to get some 33x12.5x15 Duratrac tires on 15x8 wheels when the DTD sales rep tells me that the load rating does not meet the Jeep's... The Jeep requires 113 (or so the salesman said), and the Duratracs are 108Q.

Anybody have absolutely any idea with this? Why is this such a common setup if it doesn't even fit in the envelope?

I have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport 2dr, bone stock.

Miggs70 has been running that tire for a couple years with no issues. They perform really well on both the Rubicon and at Moab!

Been running this size for 2 years also with no problems. The load rating is more suitable for the jeep than the E rated Duratracs due to the lighter weight.

Lol, same thing happened quite a few year's ago with me trying to get tires from them think i just ended up calling back a few days later and got a different rep no problems the second time. Think i told them it's for a Ford escort! If they weren't the cheapest I would have just went somewhere else.

Isnt that pinching the tire to much?

I'm running that exact set up right now on a 2-door. No problems what so ever and run great aired down too. Ask for Clint at DTD. Not only is he very knowledgeable, he won't give you bs about it.

Just tell them you want them for your back yard so you can use them to make an obstacle course. No load rating requirements.

I've been running this exact setup on my 08 2dr (manual with 3.21s) now for just over 2 years (since April 2012) and almost exactly 25,000 miles. Never had a single problem with them. I'm running them with MB TKO wheels. Bought the whole setup from DTD. I also got the tire replacement certificates. I feel like if they weren't to spec on the JKs then I wouldn't have been able to buy the certificates after I told him they were going on my Jeep.

I have 4 door springs that are numbered 17/58 and a Teraflex space leveling kit for reference.

Ok, I stumbled across this thread and have some questions... And let me start out saying i do not understand ratings and loads and pinching etc. so this comes from ignorance and wanting to learn.

If the tires in question don't meet whatever specs for the vehicle, even if you get another rep who will "allow" the sale stating it's ok, and people do it all time with no problem, why chance it? One comment was to tell the rep it's for a different vehicle, a ford I think. One comment was to tell rep it's for backyard obstacle course.

Why lie to get these tires if they don't meet the stated specs? Surely there are other tires that not only meet your specific needs, but meet the manufacturers spec requirements.

Maybe I'm completely off base and missed something ( it is late and I'm tired) so please help me understand.

Thank you all, I always learn so much from you.

If you think about the size of tire you are trying to get, the jeep is a relatively light vehicle already for this size of tire. Can you name a lighter vehicle that would fit that tire? Go get them somewhere else, they will be fine.
