Default stock Rubin rails

Do Rubi rock slider provide decent protection? Found a pair for $100 and was wondering if worth it.

The stock Rubi rails that attach directly to the frame only, and have no step are for sure better then the step bar that also attaches to the pinch seam.

The stock rubi rails attach to the pinch seam, not to the frame at all.

They may not be the best for the hardcore stuff, but they will offer some protection. So for a $100 its worth it.

I talked with some of the builders for rock sliders and they said the stock Rubicon rock sliders work great as long as you don't need a sidestep to get in. That's why they're over $600 to replace them. Smiddy built said they'd sell me a set of theirs but the stock ones would work just fine they don't protect side body damage but they do protect the bottom of the body

Rubi Rails work well with other frame mounted sliders like ACE so that if you come down on the sliders really hard they don't bend up into your rocker panels. They also make the pinch seam look much more finished. So for $100 they're worth it.
I currently have Rugged Ridge rocker Sliders, I don't have Rubi Rails, but they'd complete the package.
If you're going over Rocks I wouldn't trust them(Rubi Rails) by themselves.

I really like the Rubi sliders (got mine for $100 also) with the Ace rails. Very solid combo and completes the side of the jeep.
