Default Painting springs

I'm getting a new lift and want to paint the spring. What's the best paint to use that will flex with the springs without chipping as easy.

I'm in the same boat, hope someone who's do it will post up.

Are doing black or contrast? I'm thinking yellow to match my shocks.

I used Fusion by Krylon on them, turned out pretty good.

I'm doing contrast. I have a full white Sahara with red and black interior and going to do red springs and differential covers

^yup that's going to look really good!

I've been painting the chassis and frame black, and have high heat paint for the diff covers, think I will do them yellow.

I did yellow shocks as the yellow went really well with the Rescue green vs red.

im trying to go cheaper so I can get my winch. On top of that it's harder to match powder cost if anything happens to them.

I've painted a couple of sets of coils a few years ago.

I just cleaned them with denatured alcohol and painted them with a couple of coats of whatever brand of cheap enamel spray paimt.

I haven't seen a chip or flake on either set and like I said, it's been a couple of years on both sets.

Don't make the paint layer thick and it should not be a problem. Apply the minimum necessary, not more.

Sahara Maverick is correct. All you need is just enough paint to look good. Light thin coats, maybe 3 or 4. You can go to an automotive paint supply store and get some 'flex additive' but if you just put thin coats on, it shouldn't be necessary.
