Lod rear bumper with rigid cutouts, anyone wires these?
Like it says. Anyone have the LoD rear with rigid flush mount cut outs and have wired them in? I've been thinking about doing a three way switch up front for off, on in reverse, and on manually. I pretty much suck at electrical but want to wire these in. Hoping with some forum expertise this will be a breeze........
I have that setup, but slightly different lights. Honestly, the lights are pretty bright and I think too much for a reverse light. I wired mine as a manual switch (actually just used my stock front fog light switch as I lost the front fogs when I swapped bumpers). If it is dark and you want extra light backing up, flip them on. I just didn't want to flood people out every time I back out from somewhere.

Yeah, really happy. Been smashing it on rocks for a couple months now and not even a dent.
Several years ago, I did a 3-way switch exactly as you described. Still working ~5 years later.

I installed a relay in the right rear light well and tied into reverse circuit. I also ran up to a rocker switch on the dash. Now I can turn it on at will or automatically comes on in reverse. At night you can never have too much light when backing up. Mine is an 08 and still as tight as the day I put it on. LOD makes a good product.
