Default Ace vs Poison Spyder vs Metalcloak

I currently have Xenon wide flat fenders and want to switch to steel. All three makers mentioned have their benefits.

Ace - is cheapest and comes powder coated but are at least six weeks out and appear to be the weakest regarding strength

Poison Spyder is only about three weeks out , and are tied (it seems by their similar mounting system) with Metalcloak when comparing strength

Metalcloak - about the same price as Poison Spyder but have a powder coat option

What are you guys thoughts based on real world mounting and use?

Rich

Guess it would really depend on what you like. I have the PSC and love them, they look really good and work for me. Most of them time when you get them painted or powder coated there is a risk of it getting damaged when shipping, it also allows you to make them your own choice color wise. Get what you want though.

PSC or MC. They won't damage the Jeep if they take an impact. I run MC, my Dad runs PSC. I installed both this year and each have their challenges, but not bad. The MC Overlines were more work due to the exoskins. Either way, do yourself a favor and get a real nutsert tool. I used the Marson that runs about $155. If you decide to cheap it out, just be sure to have a welder handy to tack a spinning nutsert in place.

I really like the MC. Look great and have excellent wheel clearance.

I would go with the Nemesis over the PSC. The PSC ones I have seen all develop rust on the seam between the tube and the skin. Nemesis are a bit more $, but they are just as strong, and I like the look of.

Metal Cloak fenders are nice, but unless you plan on running the Game Changer with the 6 Pack shock you won't need that much clearance.

Your MC comment raises a question. Is the OP interested in the Overland or Overline fenders? The Overland are comparable to the PSC.

Also meant to note that the MC will develop rust as well. Any product without a fully welded seem or a tight space will. That is, if they are powder coated. Powder coating doesn't do well at getting in those tight spaces. MC showed a test set of fenders where they did the yellow zinc dip like their suspension components. That stuff is legit. Rust won't be an issue in that case.
