Default Teraflex Tire Carrier Question

I just wanted to see if anybody knows if you can move the studs from one position to the next. I currently have 33"s and would like to have 35"s in the future. And how did you get the studs in? Thank you.

Yes, I have moved them. Did so after calling Teraflex. No big deal.

Did the rattle at all after moving them? How did you get the studs out of their original position to move them to the next?

No, no rattle. No problems. Was prepared to have to order new studs from TF but did not have to. I used a BFH to pound them out.

This is good to know when I go to 37's even though the 37's will fit with my MetalCloak bumper where my 315's are mounted now.

I'm having a hard time getting them in. How did you insert the studs?

You can probably install them the same way you'd install wheel studs in the axle. Put the stud through the plate, put a bunch of washers on the stud, then tighten a nut on the stud so it pulls the shoulder into the plate. Good Luck!
