Default PSC Brawler II install help

Installing a brawler II carrier for someone and have a really stupid question. Which way does the bearing seal go in?

Bearing is in tapered side down. Can't figure which way the seal goes and the instructions don't say.

By tapered, do you mean the rubber seal side in first?

Pretty sure the black rubber part goes upwards, I did mine over two years ago and haven't had to open it since. If you try putting it in there rubber side down it likely wont go in very well. I can go try and get the top off mine and check.

This one goes in the bottom of the carrier. Bearing is facing tapered end toward the sky. So the seal goes between the bearing and the bumper. Are we talking about the same thing? Basically, you'd have to pull your carrier to see it.

I verified with Breven at PSC when I did mine (Brawler I though).

It goes like this (from the bottom):

Thanks. We ended up figuring it out (thanks Autozone).

It's pretty incredible how poor their instructions are. I'd guess that 90% of people installing this bumper would not know which way it goes. Why wouldn't they show a picture or at least say which way.

Still waiting to find out why the rear brackets on the crusher flares don't fit on the 2014 JK I've been helping someone on.

PSC should look at how LoD or MetalCloak write instructions. That's how it's done.
