Default Nitto Trail Grappler Noise

I have Nitto Trail Grapplers - 295/70-17. Just installed a lift and will soon be looking for 37" tires. I don't want to do Nitto tires again. I'm not very happy with the noise on these now. The noise level on these tires when they were new, and for the first 18k miles, was okay. But now they have 21k miles on them and they are unbearably loud. Can barely hear the stereo when I open the window.

I'm interested to know who has tires that are great on and off road AND have a reasonable noise level throughout the life of the tire.

I didn't realize. I thought every tire came in the normal 33, 35, 37 sizes or metric sizes that are close.

Even my duratracs got louder towards the end of their life.. I think my Trails have gotten a little louder since i first got them, but how quiet do you really expect a 35-37" tire to be?

Sounds like you want an all terrain tire instead of mud tire.
