Default Stock P255/75R17 wheels or 265 70 17

Can someone please tell me, what tire size is taller, Stock jeep JK P255/75R17 wheels or 265/70/17. If you have pictures of comparison, please post up.

I believe the 255 is by a small amount. It will also depend on which tire. The best way to know is to look up the specifications on the manufacturers website. Every tire I have ever considered was easy to look up and the over all diameter.

Duratracs, lets use them as example 265 70 17. I want to run these with a leveling kit after my 285's wear down, or maybe i can sell them. The 265 duratrac overall diameter says 31.7, the stock jks are...

Really cool, hey it actually looks like the 265 are taller then stock in your photo...right

EDIT" Those stock wheels you have are actually the 225/75R16

Here are 265/70's on mine.

The last one was while I was changing my tires back and installing lift. I had 265's on the rear and the factory 255/75's on the front.

I believe both these photos are before I swapped rear springs from 55s to 59s..gained 3/4 to 1 inch...sits about perfectly level with the 17 front springs and 1" spacer (had 14s) even with the winch. Hope this helps
