Can anyone here see any reason why I could not use the Metalcloak control arms on my existing Synergy stage 1.5 3" lift kit? Synergys control arms cost $2425, but the Metalcloak control arms arms cost $1200, $1225 cheaper than the synergy, and based on everything I've read Better arms... Can't see any reason why I would want to pay more for control arms that are lesser... Agree or disagree, and why? But first an answer to my original question would be nice.

Im sure dirtman will jump in with how much stronger a synergy arm is. But no there is zero reason why you cant run the mc arms on your lift. So far no complaints on any of my MC stuff

Hands down the synergy arms with the double adjuster are better arms, with their new rod ends they should be one of the best sets of control arms out there.

Yes you can run metal cloak or any other arms with your synergy stuff. A full set of synergy arms are $1215 not sure where you are getting them for $2425 unless you are looking at their long arm with brackets.

Correction... I clicked on the wrong set, yes I accede toy looked at there long arm kit...

I know the Metalcloak joints have not been on the market long enough to get the long term durability stats yet... But I like everything about there joints and technology. I have no reason to believe the synergy arms are not stronger, but i don't think I'll be doing anything rough enough to damage the Metalcloak arms... I want the extra flex they deliver... I was gonna go a full synergy kit, I liked it on my friends rig. But now a few other friends went with Metalcloak, and I'm in awe with there rides... I'll start with the control arms, then go from there...

They don't give you any more flex over the new synergy joints, and the double adjusters are worth it for ease of set up.

Am I missing something... Don't the synergy use the Johnny Joints?

The extra "flex" MC claims over johnnys wont be seen on most rigs with short arms. Closest you can get to maxing it all out is with the extra travel of the 6pak

Synergy has a new joint called the Synergy Dual Durometer coming out next month that is similar to the duroflex joint. Their current arms do use Johnny joints on one end.
