Default EVO Rubicon Manual Sawybar disconnect question

Today I just found out my Rubicon Electronic sway bar disconnect was shot so I decided to go with The EVO manual disconnect Knob solution. My question is what do you do with the wiring harness that's left over when you do away with the motor? If moisture is what screwed it up and it's sending bogus messages to the computer then is there a need to seal it up somehow or will using the Procal to disable the swaybar light over ride the messages from the harness to the computer?

The two guys I know that did this just tied the connector up. If it bothers you you could always cut the leads and seal them with shrink tube. Just pinch the end with pliers while it is still hot.

A heavy duty plastic bag and wire tie work great. Just the corner of the bag to avoid a bunch of extra material.

With a Procal (or other capable programmer) you'll need to disable the system to get rid of the light.

So does the Procal over ride the signal from the harness?

Yup the procal will get rid of the light and make the button useless if you were to press it
