Default Tuffy security drawer

Okay was starting to install this on my 2012 jk 2 door. And I does not look like it will fit at all. Looks like the cross bar under the set is in the way so tried to slide it under there and won't fit. Did they send me the wrong one? Or what am I doing wrong?

you are correct it WONT fit on any 2012+ 2 doors (because of the tilt/roll seats).
I bought one knowing it wouldn't fit, thinking i could modify it, but its next to impossible....because of the front brace that ties the seat rail together, but worse because the 2 door floor is not flat.

I installed a console insert instead - I liked the tufty console insert because it used BOLTS (instead of self-tapping screws) to secure the console insert - you're not gonna rip or pry it out (like you could the bestop version).

read that thread link on the console insert - i looked hard at both the bestop & the tuffy - the tufty lid is better designed too.

I put the console safe in, then using a heated awl, I pushed the awl thru the bolt holes in the console to mark where i would need to drill for them. I then removed the console safe and drilled the holes from the outside in (using the holes i poked thru w/ the awl).

Thanks for the pics! I wanted an under the seat model, but couldn't put it in a 2012 2 door, and I thought the console type did not seem secure. I'm going to look at a Tuffy now.

Default Concealed in 4 door?

Does anyone seem to think its a problem to relocate (just by a few inches) the cabling that's mounted to a little bracket on the 2014 4 door to fit? I had a 2008 2 door and took my under seat drawer out and mounted it in the 2014 4 door. To do so, I removed that little bracket and pushed the lines over... My guess is that they deal with the airbags and seat sensor, but they still have plenty of slack for the seat to move forward and back.

Just put one under the seat if my 2014 - worked fine. Wires are long enough to re route after ditching the bracket. Just make sure they are tied so they don't get caught when sliding the seat.
