Default Front end noise in 4wd

I have a 2008 Unlimited X. 2" leveling kit. I just started getting a clicking and clacking sound (yes that is a tech term) from my right front, only in 4wd. No noise in 2wd. Not a constant noise, but mainly when i turn, either direction. Thanks for any help.

I would start with torquing suspension components, check U joints and Ball Joints.

Why would I only be getting that noise in 4wd?

Possibly an internal issue. Torquing and checking some of the external moving (suspension/steering) parts will help eliminate some of the easier possibilities.

Sounds like a u joint. In 2wheel it's just along for the ride. No force being applied,
Check there first.

+1 on ujoint, I have the same sound coming from my drivers front and I have confirmed that I have movement in that joint... I'll replace it when I do the reinforcement upgrades
