Sleeve fitment on ome stabilizer
Ok I purchased the ome steering stabilizer as well as the synergy tie rod mount (stock one is mangled)
My issue is the supplied bolt with the synergy mount doesn't fit. Upon calling them, they mentioned that the supplied bolt is 1/2 inch while the sleeve for the ome is the metric equivalent...making it nearly fit but not quite. Some people have reported it working while others are having trouble.
What is your call? Do I attempt to file the sleeve a bit to coax the bolt in? I don't want to hack it up nor do I want to ruin the threads on the tie rod clamp. I also don't want any sort of looseness or slack at the mounting point.
Btw Northridge4x4 and synergy are both great 2 do business with and respond quickly. [emoji106]

The mount is threaded and my stock bolt is absolutely garbage. It's bent to shit. It wouldn't work regardless as the mount is threaded for the supplied bolt
I think im going to try and file that sleeve a bit to get it to work.

If the issue is that the bolt won't fit through the bushing sleeve on the stabilizer, Can you push out the metal bushing sleeve and just slide the bolt through the silicone bushing? I have a Rancho stabilizer that's how they do it.
Now if only I can extract the sleeve without hacking the bushing up
