Default Part numbers for Bilstiens used on the AEV 3.5" and 2.5" lifts?

Hey all, just wondering if someone can help me out. I am trying to see if the shocks used on the 2.5" lift and 3.5" are the same. Also, if someone could take a height measurement of the bump stops on the 3.5" lift I'd greatly appreciate it. What I'm trying to figure out is if I can throw some 1" spacers on my 2.5" lift. Thanks!

I don't think they have a part number specific for the tune that the AEV kit they have, but all it is, is a Bilstein 5100 tuned by Bilstein to better fit the AEV kit specifically. I don't know how much of a difference the tune makes, but yeah, they are Bilstein 5100, unless if you are talking about the remote reservoir shocks, then here is the AEV version http://www.aev-conversions.com/shop/...servoir-shocks
I think those are meant to be sold as an upgrade to those who just got the 5100s with their lift kit, but I don't see a reason it wouldn't work without the AEV kit. Here's a pic of the bumpstop with a ruler, looks like 3" to me

Thanks for the pic, appreciate it! Yeah i was on the AEV site and it states they have a specific part number for the special tune. Per other websites Bilsteins 5100 that fit a two inch lift will work for lifts 2"-3.5" so I would assume that the 5100s that come with the 2.5" lift are the same but "special tuned" but I want to make sure.

From what I've read online is that AEV tunes their shocks for the 2.5" kit differently than the 3.5" and 4.5" kits. Adding a spacer would change the dynamics of you suspension that wouldn't match either the 2.5" shocks or the 3.5" shocks that AEV tunes. They tune them along with the springs for different height lifts. So the tuned shocks wouldn't be "perfect". But if I were you, I would keep the shocks you have that came with the 2.5" AEV kit, because they are the same shocks, but tuned for the springs for the 2.5" lift, it wouldn't be perfect either way but the 3.5" springs are made differently than the 2.5" springs. I hope I made sense, but basically what I'm saying is the shocks you have right now, in my opinion, would be a better fit
Your welcome for the picture by the way! Wasn't too hard for me to help a fellow Jeeper haha

I have the aev 2.5 lift with a 3/4" spacer on the front and a 1/2" spacer on the rear. It all seems fine. I would guess with a one inch up front your front axle may be off to the driver's side anywhere from 1/2" to an inch.

Thanks! Have you taken this set up off road with the swaybar disconnected, and why would the drivers side up front be off? Appreciate the input.
