40" Toyo MT, 4:56 gears, 5.5 RE lift. Drives and rides great!, around town MPG went down, highway improved. 6 sp manhal

K/n air filter and magma flow cat back, holds 6th @ 2k Rpms @65 like champ

Did you beef up your axles to run the 40's besides gears, what are you currently running?

What size is your spare?

There are already show threads for 40" tires. Try the search or just look in the modified section as there is a post on it nearly every day.

Stock D30 right now, I'll be babying it till I upgrade. I have ARB locker, RCV axles and Artec armor truss/gusset kit waiting to be installed.

4.56s and a D30 running ultra heavy 40" Toyos?!? God speed...

I'd avoid potholes until you get the truss and gussets on. Don't forget ball joints. The stock ones will be toast in no time (and really aren't strong enough for that size tire).
