Default 4WheelParts Shipping

Has anybody had any shipping issues with 4WheelParts? I ordered 5 wheels/tires from them in June and they havent shipped yet. A guy called me from their warehouse in the first week of July and asked If I wanted black out or white out, which makes me think he was mounting and balancing them then. Is it typical to wait 2+weeks for them to even ship?

I was also pleased to see that they are offering free mounting/balancing right now, and I paid $50+ for it back in June... haha. That always feels good.

My jeep is still sitting on these sorry excuse for rubbers and I'm supposed to go to Yellowstone in a week...

That's a little absurd. I ordered my wheels and tires from discount tire direct and had them mounted and balance to my door in 3 days.

I'd call them back and see whats up. That, or cancel and go elsewhere.

Seems to be SOP for 4WP.

That's crappy service. I've always had a good experience with orders, that being said I call a specific store and person I have been dealing with for a couple of years. I'd burn that phone up and have some tires with free shipping and balancing or my cash back by the end of the week. I'm sure if you call they'll match the new price and maybe cut some more. Good luck on getting a great deal.

What brand wheels are they? If it's a brand owned by WheelPros; ATX, KMC, XD, American Racing, then they are not in stock at a 4WP warehouse. They are ordered from WheelPros, drilled by them and then shipped to a 4WP warehouse. If it's a ProComp wheel, they were probably waiting for the next shipment to come in from overseas. If it's another brand, I have no idea. But I will guarantee it's one of the two above.

If you ordered over the phone, "everything" is in stock at 4WP whether they actually have it on hand or not. They consider "drop ship" and "made to order" as being in stock.

I just placed an order today with Zach at 4wd hardware(same place) - he gave me a way better deal on the same order that I had placed at my local 4wp. I personally don't like 4wp (seems like more of a lifted truck or pavement queen place to me, which is pointless) but I would order from zach again, huge discount no questions asked - he is the forum rep, give him a call.
