RANCHO 2 Inch Sport Lift Kit with RS9000XL Shocks
Just trying to do a small write up. Hopefully someone can get some use out of this if they are thinking about purchasing the RANCHO 2 Inch Sport Lift Kit with RS9000XL Shocks (Part Number: RANRS66109BR9)
I have/had a stock 2011 jk. I decided to put some meatier tires on along with a small lift/leveling kit/BB/what ever you would like to call it. Didn't really wanna go 'all out' since its 99.9% a DD. Decided to go with some Nitto Trail Grapplers 285/70/17. Very pleased with these tires thus far. Extremely aggressive looking. Not very much humming ither. When you get up around 70 on the interstate it increases a tad but nothing that the radio won't hide.
Anywho, at the time Rancho had a $50 mail in rebate when you purchased this lift, which made it even more appealing. And on top of that they had free shipping. But the part that i was most impressed with the most was ordering the kit late on a tuesday night....processed the very next day, and was at my house by friday
. A tip of the hat to 4wheelparts.com for the fast/free delivery.
Decided to take it to a local shop for installation, just a family owned garage with great mechanics. Don't really turn my own wrench too much, i build houses for a living. But it ended up taking them 4 hours (or that what they charged me for) But they did it 100% correct and no issues with any parts not fitting or missing. So really can't complain too much.
Before the kit was installed, i measured the bottom side of my wheel fenders. Basically, all 4 measured 36'' to the bottom side. Once the kit was installed, it lifted the front to 39'' and the rear to 37''. So for a 2'' kit, i got +3'' in the front and +1'' in the back. Overall very pleased with end results. Ill post a before and after pic at the end of this write up.
The kit MSRP's at $449.99 currently on 4wheelparts.com and they still have free shipping. So for around $680 installed, my small little project is complete.

As far as the 'ride' goes, really can't complain there ither. Only had it on for a short while but no complaints yet.
Just as a tip, i was told not to go much more than a 3'' lift (depending on which jeep you have) it will require a lot more parts and 1 being a drive shaft which get pretty pricy quick, plus labor.
Hopefully this helps out anyone considering buying this kit, tried thinking of any questions that i had before i bought this and tried to answer them on here. if you do have any questions please ask. ill do my best to share whatever i can.
