Default pinion angle with 4 inch lift can anyone tell me if its good with pics

i got a tom woods drive shaft and just did my pinion angle and did -2 down because when you move the rear goes up can anyone with a 4inch lift tell me what they did?

Why not call Tom Woods? He'd know best and then if something broke, he wouldn't blame you for improper install.

The Tom Wood website has all the info you need as well tells you exactly how to set up the rear DS

yeah i did, i was just wonder anyone with a 4inch lift and how they have there pinion angle any thoughts

Looks right to me, you want just a bit of down of straight with the driveshaft.

I hope your rear pinion doesn't raise and lower as you speed up or slow down. That tells me that you have something loose. If you had a leaf spring setup that might be the case but with upper and lower control arms you should not have axle wrap.

If your new driveshaft is a double cardan style then the pinion should be about 2° less than the angle of the driveshaft. Since it is the rear and you have no worries about caster for steering just use adjustable contr arms and adjust as needed.
