Default What is standard height for a 2008 Sahara

I recently purchased a 2008 Sahara 2 door and I'm trying to determine if anything had been done to it or not. I don't see anything that looks like it was replaced but wanted to see if anyone could tell me what "standard" height to the frame might be?

As it sits in the drive with the Freedom hard top on it I have 13" to the frame rails under the doors. I also have about 4.5" between the tire and the edge of the flairs.

I'm getting ready to change all of this, but not sure if its bone stock or not.

Thanks
Brian

I believe it depends on what springs you got from the factory along with the configuration of the Jeep. There appears to be no rhyme or reason to the springs numbers (besides the 10A). Mine came with 14/56 springs and is not as high as ones the came with 19/60s, 19/59s, or 18/59s, etc.. Wish I could be more help.

Drive to a dealer lot and park next to one that looks to have the same approximate features as yours.

Thanks, I guess I wasn't aware there were so many different springs. I got the build sheet from Chrysler and all it says is "SDUS Heavy Duty Suspension w/Gas Shocks"

I'm basically in that same decision making step everyone gets too. Change the suspension and tires and trying to determine what parts.

I guess I'd be better to just not worry about it and change it to what I want.

Thanks anyway

I think you got it there, Brian. Make it your own.

Good info. I assume the 1.5" of variances is for the springs?
