Anyone know offhand the torx sizes needed to take out the hard top bolts and door bolts? I dont see it anywhere in the manual nor did I find any star head drivers in with my jack or glove box, jeez chrysler would it kill you to include the tools needed to go full convertable?

Default Torx

40 on the Hardtop, 50 on the Doors - If using a standard ratchet, wrap the head of the ratchet in cloth so you don't scratch the paint taking out the door bolts. Each door has a cable and a strap to remove, the rear door straps are hidden behind an access panel that just pops off. Don't let the doors swing once you've removed the straps as they will hit your fenders.

thanks stoo, ordered a set of torx socket heads that include both of these sizes for $10 and a master craft quarter inch driver that will fit them + screw driver heads on its reverse side! good tip on the door bolts, i was wondering how tight the clearance was gonna be on those ill swaddle the driver with one of my microfiber wash kits rags before i go to unbolt the doors.

I just use a refrigerator magnet to protect the paint from the head of the ratchet. It seems easier to me than wrapping cloth that could bind.

I've seen where you can buy the inside bolt with heads that you can turn by hand. Thinking of getting some.

Genius, why didn't I think of that. I just leave mine out for the summer, but I will try and remember this when I put them back in. Thanks for the idea.
