Default gimme the scoop on Synergy coils..

Ok fellas,

In my quest to find the best riding coil that resists sag ...next in line is Synergy 4.5" bad boys.

So far MC coils rode great but clanked...I would have totally kept them if it weren't for that.

Evo 4" plush rides....nice quality, good height ,no noise just a little stiff.

Now, judging from my knowledge and experience with synergy products, I would have to think their coils are also top notch.

They look linear by the pictures but say progressively wound?

Either way, gimme the straight up on these suckers....

Thanks guys,

Jay

In for this. I'm sure they will be my next choice. Possibly the 3" coils, I feel as if the 4.5s will be a lot higher than my Evo 4"?

Anyways I hope a few people can speak from experience!

That's exactly what I was thinking. ..the Evo's are pretty tall so I wonder since the Synergy is supposed to be softer, you'd think it's because of a softer rate which would translate into a shorter ride height?

Synergy lists the 4.5" coil at 21.375" standing height...not sure what the Evo's are

If after they are under weight and equal the same ride height as the evos, I'm sure I would switch with the quickness. I don't want to loose any height, but I don't want to gain any either.

Synergy is progressive springs. The advertised height is loaded so if you have a lite rig then you will be sitting higher. The 3" setup is what I will be going with next if I ever upgrade axles and driveshafts and decide to go 37s.

Well I have a lite rig I guess. Just a Brawler lite front bumper no winch.
Rear Dagger bumper and 35" spare.

It's not too lite. Also read the entire page on each item. If you get matching front and rear coil heights then you will have a rake on a lite rig. I think it says if it's got some junk in the trunk then it levels out but if your keeping a lite rig then they recommend shorter coils for the rear. So like 3" front coils with 2" rear coils.

Gotcha. ..I'd go after the 4.5" fronts as I have 3.5" MC rears and its perfectly level with the 4" plush rides the gave me 5" of lift.
If I needed to I'd just get some spacers for the rear.

Did you ever bother to find out why you had a "clank". That's an install issue not a MC issue.
