Default Air intake and snorkel

Looking to buy a new air intake and snorkel for my 2014 Polar Edition. Question is I'm looking at the aFe intake maybe K&N but for snorkel does it matter about which I get? Looking at the one that runs the length of the hood and would go into the hood right where the intake is, but does the brand matter? Not saying I am going cheap but I've seen one for about $175 and the others for like $300. There are anything special to the different brands or just like quality?

You want to use the stock air box for a snorkel or go with a snorkel system that has it's own intake and airbox like volant. Are you referring to k&n filter or afe filter, or you talking about a CAI?

The filter will be aFe or K&N but not sure on the snorkel brand. If I buy the aFe or K&N system will it fit any snorkel? Or will I have to buy the whole set up like Volant?

That is AEV snorkel and hooks into the stock airbox.

The picture was just as a reference of the type I wanted, not saying I am getting the AEV

Correct, I am most likely buying the aFe setup and filter. But then either the Volant or AEV snorkel. Will either of those two snorkels fit the aFe setup?
