Default How to remove the carpet

How to remove the carpet? Are there drain plugs under the carpet?

Just start pulling and it comes out in a few different sections. There are a couple plastic caps that hold it down in certain spots but tehy just pop free. There are plugs under the drivers/passengers feet, under the front seats and under the rear seats as well. You will see them once you pull said carpet.

Thanks sound pretty simple. So you don't have to remove seats.

no you dont have to remove the seats for sure, might have to cut the carpet a little of the seats are mounted through holes in it i havent taken mine out so im not sure if its just clipped in or has seat mount holes in it hehe.

This ia a simple task. There are clips holding it down on the firewall and under the front seats. You do have to cut/tear the carpet where it goes around the front seats front mounting point. It took me about 20 mins to remove all the carpet in my unlimited. There is also a drain plug in the spare tire tool area.
