Default Rear axel shafts

I'm trying to figure out why my axel doesn't not go in flush into the differentia. What side does the longer axel go into? Is it the passenger side?

Do you have a rubi rear or standard rear axle? Stock shafts? Bent axle flange?

I'm installing dana 44s in my axels and at the end of the installation the shaft won't go in. Do you which axel shaft is longer?

Are you sure the shaft is fitting into the inner seal? You have to hold that far end up a little, or it will hit outside the seal and not slide in. Be careful to not damage seal.

You whole axle is a d44 more than likely... non-rubis d44s the axle shafts are the same length...on rubi d44s the passenger is shorter (31.25") and the drivers side (32.50).
