How do you pop off the center console / dash?

Use a very dull flat head screw driver and feel around for the tabs and pop them with that.
The pros use a special plastic tool that is basically the same.
Ive seen tounge depressers used as well.
Just take your time and let your hands feel for the tabs. There maybe some hidden screws as well. usually those either go upwards and so hide under ledges in holes or they have round plastic inserts over them to hide the screw head. If so the screw driver can pop them out as well. then address the screw. I usually tape it to the panel where it goes so I won't loose it or forget it when putting it all back together.
