Occasionally bending factory lower control arms...upgrading, is it worth it?
Ok, so last year by the end of fall I had bent one front and one rear lca
This year I've already bent one rear lca
I mean they are dirt cheap to replace, and there is no perceptible sign that one is bent, you have to get under it and look for it
So is it worth going with a seemingly better/stronger versions, and thus more expensive alternative?

Are these the control arms you have?

Uh...I'd say if you've bent that many arms - you should certainly look at an upgrade. I don't know that much about BDS but it doesn't seem to be at the top of too many lists. I'd take a look at synergy or MC.
I assume you're running the non-adjustable arms from their kit?

Where are you guys seeing BDS ?
He said factory and even mentioned how cheap they are to replace.
Yes .. A aftermarket arm will/should not bend. Most are warrantied against damage.
I know some arms--RK for example--have a upward bend for clearance.

Ha! Yeah, I guess I assumed as well since he dropped the coin for built axles that he didn't skimp on his lift. Are factory arms really "dirt cheap" to replace? I guess you can probably find take-offs all over craigslist.
4" lift on a 2door, a ton of money sunk into the build, running (and bending) stock arms because they are cheaper than the adjustables you know you should have? Get the stronger adjustables, which will also let you fine tune the pinion/caster and regain some wheelbase.
