I have been looking at some new tires. Any reason the these are not popular? They are light and have fairly aggressive tread.

Great for pavement pounding. They are one of the more mild a/t tires. Forest service trails, getting to the deer lease. Don't do real well offroad. They did okay for me on slick/wet granite and sand. Rocky and steep they were poor. I'd rather spend my money on something else.

You just described the uses I have. The most off-road ing I do is driving around the farm putting cameras out and going hunting.
