Default Metalcloak vs. RK coils

I currently have the basic rough country 2.5 lift, and recently installed a pretty heavy tire carrier/ bumper/ spare. So the rear dropped about an inch, which is driving me insane. So I'm looking to swap out the RC coils for stiffer ones that don't sag. Do you guys have any experience with the metalcloak 2.5 coils or the rock krawler coils? How do they hold up over time?
I'm not set on either of these brands I have just heard these two are pretty stuff and resist sagging with weight. Thanks everybody

I have the RK 2.5 new triple rate coils. They haven't been out for very long, but their old coils held up pretty well. Can't speak about MC, as I don't know anyone that runs them.

this is a google search of " jk-forum.com mc vs rk "

https://www.google.com/search?q=site...-a&channel=nts

Should give plenty of reading material from folks currently running either/both.

Can't speak for MC But the new triple rates ride amazing compared to the first gen coils.

So how much lift did you guys with the RK 2.5 coils actually net you? I'm really looking to compare the height of the coil under the weight of the jeep. So the distance from the axle to the top of the coil?

Mine measure just under 14" from the axle spring perch to the top of the carrier for the top of the front spring. Not the actual top of the spring, but that'll get you a measurement to go by. Mine is a 2dr with a midwidth bumper and winch. Jeep actually sits slightly higher in the rear, about 1/2".

Awesome thanks for measuring. The RC coils are sitting at about 12.5 in the front and about an inch lower in back. So they have sagged quite a bit. Thanks again for measuring buddy
