Default Sky Top???

I was looking to add new stuff to the JK and I came across a clear plastic top.
The description says?

Sky Top is easy to install on and off with quick easy no drill installation. Manufactured from High Gloss smoke impact acrylic. State-of-the -art computer aided design to insure a perfect fit. See-thru top...Reduces heat, glare, wind and rain.

No Drilling? how is that possible there is no drilling when it's a 4 piece top and the JK is a 3 piece freedom top? I need to call these guys and investigate some more.

When I look at that picture of those mounted on that jeep it looks like some weird ass plastic windows from some other vehicle that someone attempted to sloppily mount to a jeep, Just look at those huge gaps down the sides. And why did they put those radius's on the corners like that ? In my opinion, they look like shit and they definitely wont keep water out let alone they're probably like sitting under a heat lamp.

Ya I dont think it is a genuine top ... more like a clear hard bikini top.

Not a real roof.

From the pictures it looks like it just mounts to the roll bars.

When you go to Wade (the mnfctr) you can see that it's just velcro'd to the roll bar.

I just got it and love it. lot better the the besttop crap i ended up giving away.

it's smoked plastic and it valcros to the rollcage. if you use doors there is a gap but this isn't a problem since my doors are never on except for winter. the top doesn't budge and doean't make any noise when driving 80+ mph. I also found it to be easier to put on then the crappy besttop safari.

I'm still waiting for someone to come out with a Lexan or better smoked T-top for our Freedome Panels, that would be absolutely sweet, for the wet winters. I love having dual-tops and switch out pretty regular. I loved having smoked Ttops on the 97 Camaro SS, nice in the rain, would be even nicer on a JK.

I completely agree with you Sasquatch...I am surprised that nobody has come out with something like that. I read in a post on here awhile back that MOPAR was asking how interested consumers would be in such a product - hopefully they decide to come out with something.
