I have a Red 2009 Jeep Wrangler X with Chrome inserts on the Grille and on the side mirrors. I have been saving money for some 285 BF Goodrinch AT's which I will be getting soon. I have been debating on whether or not to put some Pro Comp 7005 Series Cast Black Alloy Rims with the new tires and replace the stock rims I have now. Any thoughts on how these rims would look with the Chrome inserts and new tires??

 

This is purely a matter of opinion and the responses will vary from "chrome doesn't belong on jeeps" to "it's your rig, do what pleases you". Personally, I don't like chrome on anything. Next, if it goes with your theme, why not chrome it up? It's your ride, dress it out the way you like.

 

Any idea of how to take the chrome inserts out?? Because they were on the jeep when I bought it.

 

In the grill? Pull the front off. From there, it will be apparent.
