Ok My point for this thread is to get opinions from the people with these kits.
Or to hear pros and cons about either.
Please do nOt tell me how these kits suck if you have never owned one i am looking for feed back
not a trolls picnic.

My Jeep (2007 JKR) has a basic 4 inch Super lift.

My control arms are stock worn and bent.

I am looking up grade to one of three following kits,

Again please read whole post before chimming on how you think rc sucks.

Rough Country Long Arm Upgrade Kit for 4"-6" Lift - RC-790
Part Number:
RC-790
Price: $1,199.00

Ok my thoughts behind this kit is i like it other then what i have herd bout the flex joints
The joint are being sold for 39.00 bucks at Morris so i bet i could get the same on ebay for them.
so i am gonna take off 160.00 and add 200.00 to the total for jj's from Currie should fix any issues with the joints
With the joints taken care of i am wondering if this may be good option.

Total price before tax and shipping after selling icky flex joints and buy jj's
1,239.00

no extended brake lines like the rough country, so add another 200.00 or so depending on maker

totaling 2,199.00 oh it stings!

I am sure i wont get much complaints here!

Rock Krawler RKJKXF+LA-UPG-2

price, 1,699.00 again add 200.00 for extended brake lines

Totaling 1,899.00

So i do not really need the break lines as of now i just threw them in there to better match the rough country kit
could care less about matching the sway bar disconnects as i have a Rubicon.

I like the Rock krawler and rough country's warranty specifies your screwed if something goes wrong another words they will send you joints but bend a link and they wont be sending you a new one.
Is this the same for RE and Rock krawler?

Any experience with the kits please lets here your thoughts?

Thank you for your time and patience,

Sincerely,

John AKA Rubi'

There is not a single long arm on the market that I would buy. If you understand suspensions and can build then do your own.

Nice choice on the welder. I would take the time to use a three link or four link calculator to make sure your geometry is correct. Small changes here can make a big difference in handling.

How about using MetalCloak's Duroflex Joints? From what I've seen, it seem to have a huge advantage over JJ? Or was I just convinced of their hype?
