Default 2015 2 Door Rubicon-Almost here!

I just heard from my dealer. They have a VON and a VIN for my Rubicon-so I am hoping it will be here in the next 10 days. I will post pictures as soon as I get it. I ordered the 2 door Rubicon with one option-the upgraded soft top (premium sunrider soft top). Anyone who can shed some light regarding if this top was worth the extra $400.00 will be appreciated. I ordered the new tank color. I have looked at a few pictures on this site and others-hard for me to tell if I am going to like it.

Excited to see what the color looks like myself. Did you see this post with some not so great pictures of a Tank Jeep? Congrats BTW.

I think you'll like the premium soft top. I had the sail cloth top on my 07 Rubicon, and that was much better than the soft top material on my "00 TJ. It was much quieter, but very stiff. I felt I had to be very careful putting the top up or down, especially when cool out, for fear I would form permanent creases that would reduce how long it would last. The premium soft top was standard with the dual top option on my '13, and it is quieter than the sailcloth, and softer so easier to put up and down compared to the sail cloth. It's only downside is it is harder to clean than sailcloth, so mine always has some embedded dirt, bugs and plant bits and pieces. I'd buy it again.

I have had just about every variety of soft top, and I like the premium top the best. Looks great, easy to clean, and super quiet inside.

Default 2015 Tank Green Rubicon-finally got it!

Posted this pic on another thread-thought I would post here too. LOVE the tank green color. Just put a few miles on the rig-runs great, plenty of pwr. The 4:10 axle really wakes up the V-6!
