I'm running 35s on 15" rims with the correct backspacing.

I trimmed my fenders, and have a 2.5" spacer lift.

Welded gussets on front sleeves and called it done.

All on a 2012 JKU Sport, auto

The two threads stuck right to the top of this modified area have some good info. You know, the ones that all new people skip right over to post their questions.

Assuming there are no changes with the '15s compared to previous years, a 33x10.50 should work. But then again, since there are differences in height/width between the various tires, you still could end up trimming.

Do a search for more info, but I have a 15 2 door and just put 305 70 16 tires on it with new wheels that have a 5 in backspacing. I haven't had it off road yet but they haven't rubbed yet. There is plenty of room without a lift.

Backspace/offset are different ways of saying how far in or out of the wheel well the tire/rim sit. A taller lift will move the frame/body up, a lower backspace will move the tire/rim out.
