Default Spod GEN I questions...

Like a dumbass I bought a used Spod. From everything I have had to buy for this piece I could have gotten a brand new one. and a gen2 for that matter.

Can someone with a Gen I help me on where to put this wire for the low voltage cut off? I have 1 to + and 1 to the wire harness, do I just ground this one? See pic.

Also- anyone know how i can get these little brackets? Lowes did not have anything that would work. The @ss who I got this from did not include 2.

Ah.. Can't wait to be finished with this stupid thing that should have been done along time ago

I wasn't even aware that they had two generations of sPOD.

Regardless, as far as these "brackets" (they're electrical connectors, aren't they?), you might try using just a terminal lug with a screw directly into the sPOD terminal strip.

On my sPOD the width of the dividers along that terminal strip are very narrow, so I put each terminal lug on a bench grinder to flatten the sides just enough to fit it into the slot.

As for where to connect the wire, if no one answers recommend contact sPOD directly. I dealt with them when one of the switches on mine failed and they were very prompt in getting me fixed up.

Thanks Mark. Spod has been really helpful with me too.. I had to send in the bracket for the 2008 and switch it for the 2010. I just didn't want to bother them at 10pm on a saturday.

It is like those connections, but I wanted everything to be uniform on the spod- I guess I am just gonna make it work.

The 2nd gen has the low amp built in, and a single connection for the wire harness- way better. Even when I called spod they felt bad about me getting a gen1.

Sucks!
