Grease on Drive Shaft

You'd be surprised how long the stock shaft will last if it's just the slip boot. If it's the rzeppa..
You really don't have time to wait.. Unless you just remove the d/s. Then you have all the time in the world
It was shortly after I installed my RK 3.5 mid arm kit and fox shocks. I ran out for a test. Disco'd and first ditch I passed over causing a decent amount of flex... torn. I guess it caught on something on the frame of the Jeep. What causes the rzeppa boot to tear? Does it catch on anything?

Hitting the crossmember skid is common, you can trim it where the shaft hits or add some washers to lower it a bit. And when flexed, check the corner of your auto tranny pan. A few people have smacked the driveshaft into it hard enough to dent the corner or split the seal.
Or you could just buy a thinner aftermarket shaft.
