really weird tire wear all of a sudden
Guys,
Any clue as to possible reason why both back tires are getting a strange inward angle wear with some lugs flipping upward in the last inch or so and some lugs a 1/8" or more higher than the adjacent ones?
Just rotated and noticed this about two weeks afterward.
Bad shocks?
4" Evo/MC
35" Kevlars
PP DL flip w/ RC axle trac bar raised mount
Pass side most noticeable

Not too much aside from shocks that could cause it in the rear eh?

I second alignment. My buddy had the same problem with the same tires. I've had cupping before, but that was because I was waaaaayyyyy to lazy to rotate my tires lol
It does look like my drivers front tire is slightly toed out although I wouldn't think it should be since I did nothing to the tie rod. But it does look like it and it tends to want to wander a bit and grab the road imperfections more

Looks like typical front end alignment wear. It's critical to mention this in the op. that isn't wear associated on the rear unless you have a bent rear axle. Rotate your tires more often and get an alignment.
Professional mechanic with 35 years of experience and long-time friend saw my very similar tires a few years back and his reaction was, "Shocks. Isn't much else that will cause that kind of wear without other problems." But, if you haven't been rotating your tires religiously, that will make it even worse.
