Default JKU Full Cage Suggestions and options

Hey guys,

I have a 2014 JKU.

I have done a good deal of research but I am finding a great deal of conflicting information; which I am sure is common when we are dealing with personal preference and opinions.

Suggestions and opinions on full trail cage options?

I love Poison Spyder, but their JK front section does not meet all my needs. I like some of the Synergy cage options.

Right now, my thinking is to use the Poison Spyder front section and have the rear portion custom built.

Any other thoughts or options? I would love to see some pictures of your JKU's with cages.

Thanks.

Genright has a full cage. Somebody on wayalife forum did a full review.

Just so you know, none of those you mentioned are full cages.
Here is what I built for mine.

Poly is the only legit pre-fab cage out there (weld in and tied to the frame). It has a few weak spots, but those are easily remedied with some additional tubes. There's a thread on another forum where that was done.

Other than that, full custom.

Thanks. Yep, all custom. Lots of unique features that other cages don't have. I've been very happy with it.

The factory B and C pillar crossbars leave a lot to be desired. Most cut them out and replace with some rectangle tubing to compliment the synergy cage kit.

What Ringer said. Some additional tubes are a good idea as well. Here is a good thread on the install and modifications http://www.jkowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=54682.
