Default 2.5 Teraflex spring lift

I just had a 2.5 spring lift from teraflex and running 17s and 35s. It drives like a 98 Dodge 2500. It's follows every little dip in the road. You literally have to DRIVE it to keep it straight. I just replaced the whole tie rod today because I snapped the adjuster when trying to get the toe in. Got the toe in between 1/8 and a 1/16 today and still the same result. It's aggravating because I originally planned on doing 35s and flat fenders and no lift because it actually drove pretty good with the 275/70/18 and spacers it had on it before. Anything else I might need to put on it to try and correct the wandering?

It also has an aftermarket steering stabilizer from rough country for 2.5" lift.

I just installed the same lift but also installed the Rancho geometry correction brackets and it drives better than stock in my opinion. What shocks are you running?

My teraflex 2.5 yielded about 3" after I installed it. It took me a bit to get everything dialed in, go through and measure to see how much everything is off. My front axle was shifted a bit so I added an adjustable track bar and that helped with the pulling but as with bigger tires that was expected. With these kits certain things aren't necessarily needed; adj track bar and control arms but sure are helpful when trying to get it to drive properly. I'd start with a adj track bar, get an alignment, and go from there.

Yep i have the teraflex 2.5 lift with a 1" puck all around with the brackets up front and its 90% better on road. Down fall is you lose ground clearance over obstacles.

Do you have an understanding of what caster is? Or that it decreases as the lift height increases? There is some info in the FAQ's and Thought on Lifts threads stuck right at the top of this modified area.

Options for correcting low caster are Cam Bolts, Drop Brackets, Longer/Shorter fixed length control arms, Adjustable control arms. They all have positives/negatives, so do a little research before pulling out the credit card.

This .. Do you wheel ? If clearance is not a concern drop brackets will help you. I run the Rancho drop brackets. You can get them for around $125

^ Agree with both of these guys. Front control arm drop brackets are great for improving on-road ride. If you ever plan to get dirty just go ahead and buy front lower adjustable control arms. It'll save you $125 in the long run.

Another vote for adj LCAs or drop brackets. Choice depends on what you plan to use the jeep for. If you will see little rocks when wheeling, brackets are an easy solution.
