Default Strange Noise After Vacuum Pump Reloc

Installed a RSE bumper and had to relocate the vacuum pump. Every since, if I start it from over night or after sitting for a while, there is a strange engine type sound, like the old power antennas going up. It last for a few seconds then goes away. I haven't noticed any issues with the function of the jeep but it is still concerning.

I've double checked the tubes and can't find anything wrong. Thoughts?

Question: Sure it's the vac pump and not the AC or heater kicking in?.. Red came home yesterday.. and I got in the jeep to pull it into the gurage.. Turning the jeep on... I get this weird sound.. Look down and the AC was on.. Mind you we never have used the AC.. Period.

Looking at the temp control.. the dial was set over into the "cool" or "blue" area which turned on the AC when the fan is or isn't on.. or at least in our case.. Had to reset everything..

AC is turned to off and was when I heard the sound. I just double checked. I didn't hear it a bit ago, but did when I cranked her up this morning

Were you careful to not kink the lines when you put it onto the relocation bracket?

Just went back and double checked hoses and connectors and all seems well. I started her back up and nothing.

Is it possible that it has something to do with the 4WD? I towed my jeep recently, around the same time as the bumper, but didn't consider it as the cause.

This happens when the the engine is off and key on Accessories. Happens every minute or so. Not really sure what it is but it's normal.

could have a small leak, possibly at a clamp or fitting.

I'll try just turning the key on and seeing if it does it without the engine started

Mine does that too. I also get the noise sometimes a few minutes after I have shut the jeep off....

If it makes you feel better, I had that noise even before I moved my pump.
