Default Need Photos of JKUs running AEV 2.5 XT lift and 33s or 35s.

After 100,000 miles of fun in my 2008 JK, I'm getting ready to order a new 2015 JKU Rubi this week to replace it. I'm going to have the dealer install an AEV 2.5 XT Dual sport lift and a wheel-tire package before delivery. I'm just not sure if I want 33s or 35s with it.
Does anyone have a JKU with this lift that can post photos of 33s or 35s so I can see what it looks like? I have 35s on my jeep now and have been driving on them for years, but I used to have 33s and they were better for daily commuting. I'd like to go 33s on the JKU with the lift but frankly I'm afraid they will look small and dorky on a lifted JKU.
Thanks,
Tom

Well I checked out the "show me your 33s" thread and maybe its not so bad as I thought for a JKU. They still look good as 33s ( 305/70/17).
Next decision, Pintlers or Savegre wheels? Hmmm...

33's ( 275/70R18 ) on AEV 2.5XT. If I had 4.10 gears I would have had 35's from the get go, I suggest you go that route to not have regrets later.

Congrats on using the search option! Consider yourself the 1%. Normally the Modified section is used for technical questions. JK Talk would have been a better place to post this thread.

AEV 2.5 with Duratracs (315-70-17) We gets lots of comments on the appearance. It works well on and off road. (Auto trans with 4.10)

Not the AEV lift on either Jeep, but I never could figure out how someone could tell the difference if it's a 2.5" lift, but it will give you a comparison of 33s and 35s (Duratracs on both, spacers on stock wheels on the left) ...

Toroweap, Grand Canyon National Park, AZ ...

And here's that Jeep on the left, but now with the Savegre wheels (IMHO, the Pintlers look so much like the OEM wheels, why bother spending so much money on them?) ...

Jaws 1, Blanca Peak, CO ...

In all seriousness, there is not a lot of difference under the two jeeps for clearance. Mark, your jeep LOOKS bad ass, but Theres not a lot of place you go the other one can't if all other mods are similar.

You would be going to the gas station more however. ha ha.
