Default Could Jeep be revving up to introduce a pickup?

That talk of Toledo possibly losing the production of the Wrangler is stirring up some interesting discussions online.

With news that the next Wrangler could get independent front and rear suspensions and convert to a unibody chassis, Jeep might be considering retaining some of the SUV’s current DNA in a tough new pickup.

That is not sexy, I like the older jeep trucks that have that look, but taking the boxy wrangler and pickuping it like that, makes me a little queesy to be honest......

If they come out with that from the factory and not a conversion kit and it is priced similar to the rubicons and comes with a rubicon package I will be first in line. Looks 10x better then a 4 door and I have bought 2 of those lol. I like it.

I think it is an idea that is overdue. Make it a trail truck like the Power Wagon, keep the live axles, ladder frame, add aluminum, 44's or better yet 60's, lockers, 3.0 diesel, and make sure it comes in a 4 dr version and I will be first in line!

I am all for a Jeep pickup. It will not look like this picture because the JK style is already dated and on the way out.
