Default Duratrac sidewall proof

This is the third time I've tried uploading this from my phone. When I try to add more than one picture the forum app freezes. So there will be one picture with my post.

Many people have wondered and said this and that about the Duratracs sidewalls. From what I've heard, some people say that only the class load E have 3 ply sidewalls, and some people say they discontinued that and NO Duratracs have 3 ply sidewalls anymore.

I'm not trying to argue why I chose class load E tires. This is for everyone's informational purposes only. I just wanted to show everyone what the side of my Duratracs say.

Hope this helps some people.

This is the first I've heard of people arguing about these tires. So are yours E rated? Mine are D rated and only 2 ply
I've ground my sidewalls into some rocks pretty good with no problem. But I will agree that I'm a fan of E rated tires too...I'll be getting new ones soon and if I can get E rated duratracs I'll take em!

I wouldn't say people are arguing about them. But there's been so many threads that I've read discussing whether they're 2 ply or 3 ply and lots of people saying they don't make 3 ply Duratracs and other people that say otherwise, etc etc.

But yes, mine are E rated and I run them at about 30psi. I like them. The overall performance in all conditions is amazing. I wanted the E rated because before I ordered them, I believed they were 3 ply sidewalls. But I am happy with them. They're awesome tires on and offroad. So I just thought I'd share this info with anyone who's thinking about Duratracs and wondering if they come in 3-ply.

Dang I guess it adds to the debate. Lol. Do you have the black sidewall letters and what size tire?

Good to know in the concentration that we are planning on Duratracs ourselves.. as far as I was told and have seen, the duratracs are "D" load rating.. as a standard.. If one wanted a load "E" I believe this was to be special ordered.
Mind you because I've heard and seen so many different things about Duratracs who better than Goodyear to email about this. My main concern was that some have said that these tires contribute to the shimmy/wobble.. and I just wanted to clarify a few things up with goodyear on this.. Mainly how is that they test their products even on Jeeps.
As of yet, Goodyear has not replied.. thou they did several weeks ago when I submitted a question about the buy 4 get 1 free "jeepers package" they informed me that this is up to the store's general manager and Goodyear corporate wouldn't have any control over this.

I ordered mine from 4 wheel parts. They had 315/75R16 in Load Range E. Just FYI

Here is how tough my duratrac sidewall is... Just out for a trail ride on the weekend and had a twig puncture a sidewall...

Just wanted to clarify to all the people who might be looking at this tire. Because I know there are people who don't want 2 ply sidewalls due to the terrain they're in or what not. So if they get the Load E, they'll get 3 ply sidewalls, just wanted to show that the Duratracs in Load E have 3 ply.
